Collector Car Live at The Big E Promises NASCAR Night and Guest Appearance by Joey Logano
The Fair’s coveted Collector Car Live event in The Big E Arena, sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer, rolls out a NASCAR night on Thursday, September 18, from 1-5pm with a panel at 3pm. The event will welcome back familiar fan favorite hosts and panelists, including FOX NASCAR’s Mike Joy, Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars, Steve Magnante of Barrett-Jackson and special guest Joey Logano, 3x NASCAR racing champion who is currently competing in his 17th series season and 13th year with Team Penske. A meet and greet with show hosts and Logano will take place at 4pm.
The event features a curated collection of more than 100 of the finest classic, custom and collector show vehicles, from the early 1900s to modern marvels. Don’t miss a special panel on stage with Logano and show hosts: “Track Talk: A Conversation on Racing, History and Horsepower.” From racing legends to the evolution of performance vehicles, they’ll swap stories and dive into the sport’s rich history.
This year’s event will also spotlight the legacy of the New England Auto Racers.

As he returns behind the wheel of the No. 22 Ford Mustang, Logano is the only active driver with three Cup Series Championships on his resume and has his sights set on winning back-to-back titles. Logano enters the 2025 season with 36 career victories, which ranks 26th on the series’ all-time wins list. He is now one of the only 10 drivers in history to win three or more Championships and one of just four drivers to earn three titles before the age of 35, putting him in elite company with NASCAR legend Richard Petty, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
Logano’s 2024 season began with another Team Penske first, as the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang won the pole for the 66th running of the Daytona 500. Over the course of the season, Logano produced four victories, including three wins during the 10-race Cup Series Playoffs. He also led 199 of 200 laps to secure a million-dollar payday in the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro. Logano won the opening race of the Playoffs Round of 16 at Atlanta before he clinched his series-leading sixth-career Championship 4 appearance with a dramatic win at Las Vegas in the Round of 8. Logano went on to claim his third Cup Series title three weeks later in Phoenix, leading 107 laps while holding off teammate Ryan Blaney during the final run.
In 2023, as part of NASCAR’s 75th Anniversary season, Logano was named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers and was one of the only eight active, full-time drivers named with this achievement. During the 2023 season, he produced 11 top five finishes, 17 top 10 results and two pole awards.
Logano made his mark on the debut season of NASCAR’s NeGen era in 2022, winning four races enroute to the Cup Series title. The four race wins marked his most in a single season since 2015—while also winning the inaugural Clash at the Championship Four appearance with a win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway before locking up the 2022 Championship with a dominant victory in the season finale at Phoenix. Logano also signed a multi-year contract extension during the 2022 season to keep the veteran driver in the Team Penske drive lineup for years to come.
Away from the racetrack, Logano and his wife, Brittany, were honored with the 2018 Comcast Community Champion of the Year award in Miami for their charitable efforts with the Joey Logano Foundation. Entering 2025, the Foundation has contributed over $6 million to organizations that provide second chances to children and young adults in crisis. In addition to his charity work, Logano owns and operates TA Films/Clutch Studios in Huntersville, N.C., a state-of-the-art facility that the NASCAR industry continues to call home for partner productions shoots and other commercial needs. Logano and Brittany reside in Connecticut with their two young sons, Hudson and Jameson, and daughter, Emilia.
Connecticut-based Daniel Sheridan, founder and creative director of Sheridan Studio and the talent behind The Big E’s and Collector Car Live’s 2024 commemorative posters, has returned to create a commemorative poster for Collector Car Live 2025 that will be available for purchase. A limited number of these posters are signed by Sheridan himself.
Collector Car Awards will be given to each of the hosts’ favorite vehicles, as well as ESE President and CEO Gene Cassidy’s favorite and recognition for overall best in show. Those in attendance are welcome to mull about the collection and join Logano, Carini, Joy and Magnante for a meet and greet after the show.
