Junior Achievement is once again very excited to host our JA Stock Market Challenge
where friendly competitors take on a simulation of a day on Wall Street!

The student competition will be from 11:00am-1:30pm.
The corporate and collegiate competition will begin at 530pm with dinner with the opening bell at 6:30pm.

JA Take Stock in Your Future introduces students to basic concepts of how the stock market works and the impact of current events on the stock market. Students discover the benefits and challenges of investing in the stock market as part of a broader, long-term investment strategy and the risks and rewards of trading. After completing the classroom curriculum, students compete in the JA Stock Market Challenge event. During the daytime event, over 350 middle and high school students explore what it takes to succeed on Wall Street in this high-tech stock market simulation. Student teams are “given” $1,000,000 to invest in over 50 fictitious stocks. With trading days lasting just 60 seconds, the goal is to build the highest portfolio net worth in a frantic 60 “days.” 

During the evening, corporate and collegiate partners compete in another simulation event that includes dinner and networking. 

Volunteers are needed for both the day and evening events.
