Springfield Partners for Community Action is seeking applicants for the 

position of Executive Director which is also the Chief Executive Officer of 

the organization. The position reports to the Board of Directors and is 

located at 721 State St. in Springfield. 


The successful candidate should be familiar with nonprofit business 

operations; experienced in managing a mid-size - large staff; experienced in budget and financing functions; comfortable working in a multicultural 

environment; possess effective communication skills; experienced problem solving skills; decision making skills; and capable of developing cooperative and collaborative efforts with the local community. 


A primary charge of the successful candidate is to develop a strong 

strategic plan for the future of the agency and promote a positive image 

within the local community. 


Springfield Partners for Community Action is a Community Action Agency 

that has served the Greater Springfield Community for sixty years. The 

organization manages an annual budget of approximately ten million 

dollars. The goal of the agency is to empower people to improve their 

circumstances for themselves and their families. Three major focuses of 

the agency is a Home Weatherization Program, support of Veterans and 

related services and provide tax preparation service for qualified individuals and families. 


Compensation is competitive and reflective of experience.
