The Big E Unveils a Very Unexpected Commemorative Poster and Exciting New Merch

The Big E’s Official Merchandise Store, brought to you by TSMGI, offers fairgoers stylish souvenirs to commemorate their trip to The Big E. A limited-edition clothing and merchandise collection and commemorative poster inspired by The Big E’s “Unexpect Everything” annual campaign will be available Sept. 18 through Oct. 4.

Merchandise booths can be found at four convenient locations: the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and the Avenue of States, inside Gate 5 on the Court of Honor, inside Gate 9A and between the Avenue ShowPlace and the Moses Building, near Gate 2.

The collection offers finds and fits that are unexpectedly perfect for everyone in your party, with trendy apparel for women, men and children. There’s cozy outerwear perfect for cool fall nights, and the barnyard-themed T-shirts and youth hoodies highlight The Big E’s agricultural roots.

Beyond apparel, the collection includes magnets, mugs, stickers, reusable water bottles, tote bags and more. Children’s toys include collectible Mystery Dumplings and “Farm Fresh Pulled Pork,” a stretchy, squishy pig perfect for fidget play, stress relief and farm-themed imaginative adventures.

“New this year at The Big E’s Official Merchandise Store are The Big E Mystery Dumplings,” said Taylor Goddard, Senior Account Manager of TSMGI. “There are five different colors to chase, including the ultra-rare gold glitter dumpling. Even better, if you find a gold dumpling, you can redeem it at The Big E’s Official Merchandise Store for a free prize!”

In memory of the late Eric Clarke, a talented illustrator and longtime friend of the fair from Westfield, Mass., limited adult T-shirts and tote bags will feature a never-before-seen design of two animated Cream Puffs holding hands.

During his lifetime, Clarke collaborated with Eastern States Exposition many times to create commemorative Fair posters, the Halfway to Something Irish Lager can design, characters to bring The E Stage to life and many more drawings still used today. The Big E team picked the doodle featuring The Big E Cream Puffs for this line to memorialize him and spread his art around the Fair.

This year’s commemorative poster was designed by Jason Craig, an independent designer, illustrator and muralist located near Augusta, Ga. Craig has more than 25 years of experience in translating “bold ideas into memorable visuals.” He has created designs for Hot Wheels, the Augusta GreenJackets and a mural inside Truist Park for the Atlanta Braves.

His work has been published in PRINT, HOW and Communication Arts, and he has earned more than 30 design awards, including the Kath Girdler Engler Award for Public Art.

Craig’s design is loaded with recognizable symbols of The Big E with unexpected twists: Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy juggles a sword and a giant turkey leg; Chaz the Cream Puff Man balances two chicks from Farm-A-Rama on his shoulders; a goat from the carousel holds up a corndog; and a pig from the Mallary Complex cradles a massive pickle.

An American flag and loads of stars, stripes and red, white and blue imagery remind viewers of the nation’s semi quincentennial, which is being celebrated throughout the Fair this year. The poster features many of the zaniest, most outlandish items you’ll find at The Big E, all under one circus-striped tent, the very same way they fit together on the fairgrounds. Eventually, you learn to unexpect everything as the limits of your imagination are continually stretched.

Be sure to check out the commemorative poster and matching poster T-shirt, designed by Craig specifically for the 2026 Fair, at The Big E’s Official Merchandise Store. All merchandise is available exclusively at The Big E from Sept. 18 through Oct. 4. For more information on The Big E’s Midway, special events and culinary delights, visit TheBigE.com.
