Registration Open for Pets Rock!
SPRINGFIELD, MA — The Foundation for TJO Animals is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 10th Anniversary of Pets Rock!, its signature summer fundraiser benefiting the animals of the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center. The event will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from Noon to 5pm, at the Springfield Elks.
Celebrating a decade of music, community, and compassion, Pets Rock has become one of the region's most anticipated dog-friendly events. Guests and their four-legged companions are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with live music, local vendors, food trucks, raffles, games, and family-friendly activities.
This year's entertainment lineup includes performances by local favorites The Berkshires, Tough Customer, and Project 267, providing the soundtrack for a fun-filled community festival supporting a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from Pets Rock help fund critical medical care and enrichment for animals at TJO, ensuring that vulnerable pets receive the treatment, support, and second chances they deserve.
New this year, the event will host a pet-food drive benefiting the Foundation's Reese Fund Pantry Initiative, a program designed to help local families facing financial hardship keep their pets fed and in loving homes. All pet food collected at the event will be donated to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen in Chicopee.
"Pets Rock is more than a fundraiser, it's a celebration of the bond between people and pets and the incredible community that supports them," said Janna Brown, Executive Director, Foundation for TJO Animals. "As we celebrate our 10th anniversary of this awesome concert fundraiser, we're also excited to expand our impact through the Reese Fund Pantry Initiative while continuing to provide lifesaving support for animals in need."
The Foundation is also seeking sponsors and vendors to participate in this milestone event. Sponsorship opportunities offer businesses valuable visibility while supporting animal welfare and community well-being.
Registration is now open. For tickets, sponsorship opportunities, vendor information, or additional event details, visit www.tjofoundation.org or contact the Foundation for TJO Animals at 413-306-5161 or info@tjofoundation.org.
