The Promotions Producer/Editor will be a highly motivated and creative individual. This position will produce effective on-air promotional spots, digital marketing, and special projects.

Additional Job Description

1. Work closely with the Creative Services Director to conceive, write, produce, and edit compelling on-air promos and image campaigns either independently or as a team

2. Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time

3. Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines

4. Produce client-sponsored promotional content, as assigned

5. Perform other related duties, as assigned

Experience:

1. Minimum 3 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a local station or cable network working in a news environment

2. Must have the ability to work daytime hours regularly and flexible hours, including weekends when needed

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid driver's license

2. Must provide a digital portfolio of work examples, including a web address with your resume or cover letter.

3. Strong non-linear editing skills

4. Extensive knowledge and proven experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop

5. Possess strong video production skills utilizing Sony, Canon, and Blackmagic Cameras

6. Working knowledge of lighting and audio gear

7. Possess excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

8. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all departments successfully

9. Open to constructive feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
