President's Message - July 2025
As we hit the height of summer, I hope you're finding time to enjoy the season and soak in the slower moments while staying connected to all the exciting things happening across our region. Here at the Chamber, we’re already gearing up for a busy and impactful fall—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
One of our most anticipated events is officially underway: Super 60 nominations are open! Now in its 36th year, Super 60 recognizes the businesses and nonprofits that are making an extraordinary impact in Western Massachusetts. Whether it’s sustained revenue growth, startup success, outstanding community giving, or nonprofit dedication, this is our opportunity to spotlight the organizations shaping the future of our region. The deadline to submit nominations is September 15, and we can’t wait to celebrate our honorees on November 7 at the MassMutual Center.
We’re also looking ahead to two Rise & Shine Breakfasts this fall that promise timely insights and meaningful conversation. On September 10, we’ll welcome back Doug Howgate of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation for an important forum on the commonwealth’s economic outlook and the forces shaping our fiscal future. Then on October 16, we’ll head to Barnes Regional Airport for a unique event focused on the role of Barnes Air National Guard Base—a major economic driver and vital institution in Western Mass. We hope you’ll join us for both of these impactful mornings.
And don’t forget—MassLive’s Reader Raves 2026 submissions are now open! We’ve proudly held the title of Best Chamber of Commerce for 12 years running, and we’d love your support to make it 13. Submissions close on July 27, so be sure to cast your vote and help us keep the streak alive.
Wishing you a joyful, safe, and sunny month ahead—and we’ll see you soon for all that’s next!
