As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible year we’ve had at the Springfield Regional Chamber—and to share some of the exciting plans we have for 2025. Together, we’ve celebrated milestones, strengthened connections, and laid the groundwork for even greater success in the year ahead.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’ve got an amazing lineup of events to kick off the new year. Below are some of the key event dates in just the first quarter. I encourage you to mark your calendars and join us as we continue to connect, learn, and grow: 

• January 9: Rise & Shine Breakfast – Honoring Non-Profits | Bay Path University | 7:30 AM
  This inspiring morning will celebrate the unsung heroes of our community—local nonprofits that make a real difference in our region.
• January 23: Government Reception | Storrowton Tavern | 5:30 PM
  An opportunity to engage directly with policymakers, business leaders, and community members to shape our region’s future.
• February 13: Rise & Shine: Cybersecurity – Major Incident Response | Marriott Springfield Downtown | 7:30 AM
• February 20: Springfield Leadership Institute | Applications Due February 6
  A 12-week journey designed to help you grow as a leader, explore transformative topics like AI and business analytics, and refine essential skills like strategic thinking and team building.
• March 7: Outlook 2025 | MassMutual Center | 11:00 AM

And that’s just the beginning. From our Beacon Hill Summit in April to our Annual Meeting in June, the coming year is packed with opportunities to connect and thrive.

Reflecting on 2024

This year, we embraced change in big ways:

• We launched a fresh logo, website, and member portal to modernize our identity and provide more tools for your success. If you haven’t yet explored the portal, now’s the time—it’s a great way to post job openings, share news, and connect with fellow members.
• We welcomed a dynamic group of new members whose energy is already fueling our mission.
• We hosted enriching events, including our Pay Transparency Panel Discussion, where we unpacked new legislation and its impact on workplaces.
