As August settles in, we’re shifting gears from summer slowdown to fall momentum—and there’s no shortage of ways to engage with your Chamber community. Super 60 nominations are still open, and we’re counting on you to help us spotlight the incredible businesses and nonprofits that make Western Mass thrive. This annual tradition is one of our most meaningful ways to recognize the businesses and nonprofits driving innovation, impact, and economic strength across the region. Whether you're nominating a startup making waves, a company with sustained growth, or a nonprofit serving our community with heart, we want to hear from you. Nominations are open through September 15, and we can’t wait to honor this year’s standout organizations on November 7 at the MassMutual Center.

We’re also getting ready to kick off our 2025–2026 Rise & Shine Series with some breakfasts happening this fall. On September 10, Doug Howgate, President of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation and a familiar face from OUTLOOK, returns to share the big picture on the state’s economic outlook. Then on October 16, we’ll gather at Barnes Regional Airport to spotlight the economic and strategic role of Barnes Air National Guard Base. Both mornings will offer valuable context for business and community leaders—and a great chance to connect over coffee and conversation.

Also on September 10, we hope you’ll join us for a special September Social at the Irish Cultural Center in West Springfield. In partnership with the Greater Holyoke Chamber, West of the River Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce, we’ll be welcoming a delegation from County Kerry, Ireland for an evening of networking, light refreshments, and meaningful cross-community connection. This event is free for Chamber members and will bring together regional leaders, fellow Chambers, and partners from both sides of the Atlantic.
