JC Williams Community Center is developing an Urban Economic Mobility Ecosystem in Springfield's Six Corners neighborhood connecting education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, food systems, and community partnerships to create pathways to economic opportunity.
Our Community Resource Hub will bring together early childhood education, workforce and career training, entrepreneurship, and the Western Massachusetts Culinary Innovation Center, a regional destination connecting local restaurants and chefs, culinary entrepreneurs, regional agriculture, hospitality education, and visitor experiences.
Our vision is to strengthen families, develop local talent, support small businesses, create jobs and career pathways, and bring new investment and opportunity into a neighborhood that has not traditionally benefited from economic and destination investment.
